In the process of writing and thinking about words, I seemed to recall ideas about "positive word" Jars, or "Thumbs Up" Jars. So I do not claim the idea as my own. That said, I made a Word Jar- and inside I put little pieces of paper which have words that are extra descriptive or that I like. A Jar I can later dig into for words when I'm having trouble finding interesting ones.

So in this thread, I thought we could have a community Jar so to speak. Also your own topic as your spot to virtually have a jar. I think having both will or could helpto retain the neat word.

Right now I have a very washed out pickle jar with four papers folded inside. tiny pieces of paper just big enough for the word and a description. I plan to jazz it up, but for now it works. Which is why the title is, "The For-Now Word-Jar"

There are more restrictions for non members of this board and the "virtual" writing group. The one requirement to view the personal virtual "Thought-Box" area for people to post things they are working on for feedback is to register an account- on this board. So that we do not have anonymous "guests" reading and posting all willy-nilly. lol. Know what I mean? Once you register- you will see the Thought Box Section

It doesn't cost anything. It does however, help to keep the virtual group safe and secure for all ages. And helps members feel encouraged to share without fear of being teased or unfairly criticized by a random stranger.

Hi There;

Thought since many of us are at home, reigniting the club as it were might help. Writing has always helped me and it really is an isolated thing when being done. So for the good of the country I say! And if nothing else, our own sanity maybe.

Hoping the lighter theme helps in reading. I've updated the site and prepared if anyone would like to reinvigorate writing projects. I've been inspired with a whole new story...

Has this new norm sparked anyone? Took me a long time, but I think I can write again...
